Leakage minimization is provided by reducing the gap, efficient seal design and reducing vibration. The labyrinth seal design affects not only the compression efficiency, but also the reliability of the unit. The oscillations of the rotors caused by the action of gas-dynamic forces in the seals are present in medium and high pressure compressors due to the entry into the labyrinth seals of a swirling flow, leading to the appearance of a circulating force.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/triz-ltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/lab2-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/triz-ltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/lab2-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/triz-ltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/lab2-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/triz-ltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/lab2-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The oscillations of the rotors caused by the action of gas-dynamic forces in the seals arise in medium and high pressure compressors due to the entry into the labyrinth seals of a swirling flow, leading to the appearance of circulating force. \u201cTRIZ\u201d supplies intersection seals to these positions, the inner sealing surface of which is made in the form of alternating rows of holes with scallops made of an anti-seize material. The wells inhibit swirling gas flow, which prevents the occurrence of exciting circulatory forces, and scallops reduce leakage.
